Sedex Launches Regulatory Navigator to Help Businesses Map Global Supply Chain Rules
Supply chain sustainability platform Sedex has launched Regulatory Navigator, a free self-serve interactive tool designed to help businesses identify major supply chain and sustainability regulations that may apply to their operations. Users answer questions covering factors such as headquarters location, revenue, workforce size, markets served, and import activity, after which the tool provides an indicative assessment of potentially relevant requirements.
The eight regulations covered include the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the EU Forced Labour Regulation, Canada’s S-211 Act, and Australia’s Modern Slavery Act.
Each result provides a plain-language overview of applicable requirements, key compliance thresholds and important deadlines, with the tool updated to reflect recent developments including the EU Omnibus Simplification Package I. Sedex said the Regulatory Navigator is intended to help compliance, procurement, sustainability and supply chain teams prioritise regulatory risks and establish clearer compliance roadmaps. Beyond meeting legal obligations, the company said greater visibility across sourcing networks can help businesses strengthen risk mitigation, supply chain resilience and decision-making as regulatory expectations continue to evolve.
