Tsinghua University and Nike announced the Tsinghua-Nike Sustainability Fellowship

In a recent announcement, Tsinghua University and Nike have officially launched the "Tsinghua-Nike Sustainability Fellowship," aiming to jointly cultivate proactive advocates and leaders in sustainable development, thereby contributing to the achievement of carbon neutrality goals.

The "Tsinghua-Nike Sustainability Fellowship" is set to commence in September 2024. This collaboration marks another significant milestone following the joint launch of the "Deep Integration Special Program for Carbon Neutrality in Industry, Academia, and Research" during the sixth China International Import Expo, reflecting the deepening cooperation between Nike and Tsinghua University in the realm of sustainable development.

According to reports, the fellowship will leverage the strengths of both parties to attract innovative and potential leaders from various disciplines within Tsinghua University. The program's training mechanism enables students to leverage their expertise in their respective fields while cultivating sustainable development concepts and leadership skills. Moreover, by providing interdisciplinary cutting-edge courses, domestic and international field studies, industry practices, as well as a diverse range of community activities, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the current state, global issues, and future challenges of sustainable development from diverse perspectives.
