Chinese sustainable designer brand Reclothing Bank has made its mark on the international fashion scene by being selected for the "Designers for The Planet" competition, hosted by the Italian National Chamber of Fashion (CNMI). Following this achievement, Reclothing Bank has been included in the official schedule of Milan Fashion Week's Fashion Hub project. Recently, the brand held a static exhibition at the Palazzo Giureconsulti, located in front of the Milan Cathedral, showcasing their commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The exhibition unveiled Reclothing Bank's latest collection, ‘Chic Innocence II,’ which takes storytelling from the Earth as its core theme. The collection masterfully blends traditional Chinese craftsmanship with modern eco-friendly technology. The garments are made from traditional Tibetan yak felt, RECLOTHING JUNEXT mycelium-based bio-leather (a proprietary innovation by the brand), and regenerated fabrics created from discarded fishing nets and plastics from coastal China.

In terms of design, Reclothing Bank combines traditional geometric patchwork techniques from the Ming and Qing dynasties with contemporary knitting technology to create comfortable and layered silhouettes. Notably, the brand's self-developed mycelium-based bio-leather fashion garments and bags made their debut at Milan Fashion Week, garnering widespread attention for their outstanding environmental performance.

Founder and designer of Reclothing Bank, Zhang Na, stated, "We aim to bring sustainable fashion into people's everyday lives through our designs. Clothes are not just tools for covering and warming the body; they are also a display of each individual's aesthetic concepts. Every piece of clothing we wear daily is an exhibition of the self." Reclothing Bank's participation in Milan Fashion Week and the launch of ‘Chic Innocence II’ signifies a significant step forward in sustainable fashion, proving that it can be both environmentally responsible and a powerful mode of self-expression.
