Norway fashion house Holzweiler adopts digital product passport

Norwegian fashion brand Holzweiler has partnered with textile traceability specialist Trimco Group and software supplier Kezzler to implement a digital product passport (DPP) scheme. The DPP system will improve the brand’s returns process while supporting its repair and resale service. It will also facilitate recycling efforts and assist Holzweiler’s customers in making responsible and informed purchasing decisions.

This initiative places Holzweiler at the forefront of the digital transformation in fashion, underlining the company’s commitment to sustainability, supply chain transparency, and an enhanced customer experience through innovative technology.

Previously, as part of its global expansion plan, Norwegian fashion and lifestyle brand Holzweiler has secured venture capital backing from Sequoia Capital China and Carnegie Investment Banking. Holzweiler announced that the partnership with Sequoia Capital China would accelerate and scale its direct-to-consumer business globally. Through its new owner’s digital experience, global reach, and resources, the brand will expand in key territories like the UK, the US, and China.
