On Running launches "Right to Run" project in China, advocating inclusive running
In a recent initiative, Swiss sports brand On Running has introduced the "Right to Run" project in China, aiming to encourage everyone to embrace the right to run, regardless of their beliefs, physical abilities, or age differences. Collaborating with the "Dark Runners," a group composed of visually impaired participants and running volunteers, the project extends support to visually impaired runners by providing race funding, sportswear, and professional coaching sessions. The goal is to create a safer and less obstructed running environment for visually impaired individuals.
Additionally, the initiative invites the general public to participate in accompanying and supporting experiences. Through various charitable learning activities, such as learning sign language and one-on-one assistance, the project seeks to raise genuine awareness about the sporting and lifestyle needs of those with mobility challenges. By fostering inclusivity and understanding, On Running aims to contribute to the construction of a barrier-free society.
Since 2020, On Running has been actively collaborating with charitable organizations in multiple countries and regions, supporting individuals with mobility challenges and children in remote areas to engage in sports. The brand is committed to breaking biases, overcoming obstacles, and promoting the joy of free running. As of now, On Running continues to actively recruit project volunteers, working together to build a bright future for the "Right to Run" initiative.
