M&G Stationery launches 'Hello, Blue Planet' to promote ocean conservation

Inspired by marine protection, M&G Stationery has introduced the "Hello, Blue Planet" series of eco-friendly stationery products made from PLA biodegradable material. This initiative aims to raise awareness about ocean ecosystems through writing and encourages the use of environmentally friendly products to support ocean conservation.

From August 15 to August 31, M&G Stationery, in collaboration with WildAid, Boundless Blue, and Poetry Journal, will host a marine conservation pop-up event on Wuzhizhou Island in Sanya. The event will feature a seaside M&G stationery store and includes participation from youth actor Xiong Ziqi and Olympic champion Xu Lijia as Conservation Ambassadors. They will promote marine knowledge and host a special poetry competition titled "In the Name of Poetry: Cherish What is Precious," which will mobilize students and young people to clean up plastic waste from beaches and practice environmental protection through learning and action.

Additionally, from August 15 to September 14, during the back-to-school season, M&G Stationery, in partnership with Xiaohongshu (Red), will launch the "Guard Deep Blue: Flash of Light +1" interactive H5 activity page. This initiative invites users to share their everyday eco-friendly actions, such as recycling old items and low-carbon travel, to collectively safeguard the deep blue ocean and illuminate the path to a brighter future.
