LOEWE unveils a festive dreamscape with Suna Fujita
As the holiday season approaches, LOEWE introduces a collection that blends whimsical imagination with meticulous craftsmanship. Under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson, the brand renews its collaboration with Kyoto-based ceramicist Suna Fujita, presenting a lineup that journeys through enchanting landscapes and fantastical realms.
This season’s pieces feature playful creatures—from dancing octopuses and squids to gliding whales and mischievous hamsters—adorned on signature bags like the Flamenco, Hammock, Puzzle, and Pebble Bucket. These narratives come to life through intricate leather marquetry and vibrant color palettes that echo the depths of the ocean and the lushness of meadows.
The ready-to-wear collection introduces statement outerwear, including luxurious coats, puffed bombers, and workwear jackets crafted from soft nappa calf and shearling. These materials provide both comfort and a tactile richness that’s perfect for the season. For evening allure, women’s wear showcases fluid dresses and the Petal Bow shoe, updated in metallic finishes and rhinestones, adding a touch of elegance after dark.
LOEWE’s holiday campaign transforms store windows into animated scenes, bringing the collection’s characters to life amidst twinkling lights. Last year, LOEWE embarked on an inaugural partnership with Suna Fujita, marking a significant milestone. As part of this collaboration, a portion of the proceeds from the project was generously donated to the Children's Education Initiative, operated by the Child Relief Foundation, in Guangdong Province, China. This contribution serves as a testament to LOEWE's commitment to the global endeavor of enhancing educational opportunities for children and adolescents.
The collection debuts on November 14, available in stores and online at loewe.com. With this release, LOEWE invites us to embrace the joy and imagination of the holidays, all through the lens of exceptional design and artistry.
