Hermès petit h brings the wonders of creative transformation to Beijing
Hermès Petit h exhibition has officially landed in Beijing. Petit h has been rejuvenated and gathered a group of artisans, artists, and guest designers who breathe new life into materials no longer used in various product categories through diverse combinations, assemblies, and innovations to inspire brand-new ideas.
In this exhibition, Hermès, through techniques such as stacking, connecting, and flipping, lends a unique poetic charm to everyday reeds and clay, skillfully merging local culture with Hermès Petit h, showcasing the creative vitality of natural and recyclable materials. The exhibition has commenced at the China World Mall boutique and will run until the 23rd of this month, inviting the public to explore and encounter playful creativity.
Hermès Petit h was created in 2010 and is currently led by creative director Godefroy de Virieu. The creative process of Petit h is reversed, not starting from design, but from materials no longer used in various product categories of Hermès, such as leather, silk, crystal and ceramics. With the craftsmanship and creativity of artisans, artists and designers, improvisation is carried out through multiple ways of combining, assembling and innovating.
