Guyu's "Rain & Wood" symbiosis initiative concludes successfully, promoting eco-friendliness and education

On October 11th, Guyu's "Rain & Wood" symbiosis initiative successfully concluded. The "Rain & Wood" symbiosis initiative, a sustainable thematic activity initiated by Grain Rain and Love Recycling, has been reported to aim at urging users to ‘return to nature’ by recycling empty wooden bottles, thereby alleviating the burden on the environment and contributing to environmental protection and public welfare.
The campaign covered a wide range of 200+ stores and 21,000+ recycling machines in 33 cities across China. During the campaign, users could redeem Guyu skin care products by dropping off empty bottles. According to the report card of the ‘Rain’ Wood Symbiosis Program, a total of 44,864 users participated in the empty bottle campaign, resulting in a reduction of approximately 17,083 kilograms of carbon emissions.
In addition, Guyu collaborated with Hohiilife to recycle the wooden lids, transforming them into 205 sets of desks and chairs which were donated to Shaoguang Daping Primary School in Guangdong Province, in the hope of replacing the old desks and chairs for the students and accompanying them to swim in the sea of learning.
