AnKoRau hosts "No Rush" trail run: reconnecting with nature and forest guardians
Recently, AnKoRau hosted "No Rush" trail run event. This event emphasizes a return to nature and traditional lifestyles. It is not merely a cross-country run but also a realistic recreation and participation in the work environment of the forest rangers in the Dalong Woodland.
The 13-kilometer trail is a path used daily by forest rangers for patrolling and maintaining the forest. It was opened by the Forest Conservation Society of the Dalong Woodland and has been renovated by both seasoned and new forest rangers.
The purpose of the "No Rush" trail run is to bring people back to the forest, encouraging them to focus on observation and appreciation rather than mere speed. This trail race is not only a challenge but also a long-term conservation and heritage initiative known as "Back to the Ranger Trail."
Runners who complete the race will receive a special pass, entitling them to become a "new ranger" in the Dalong Woodland. Whether they are runners, hikers, volunteers, or trail restorers, each visit will contribute to the ongoing protection of nature.
