FREITAG transforms flawed bags into bicycle seat covers

FREITAG, known for its innovative approach to repurposing materials and ideas into practical solutions for urban living, has recently unveiled an intriguing initiative alongside postpost. Leveraging FREITAG's commitment to sustainability, postpost has transformed flawed bags that didn't meet sales standards into wearable bicycle seat covers. Craftsman Tian Jianjun was specially commissioned to craft this unique seat cover backpack.

The bag consists of two primary parts: a foldable bicycle seat cover and a small pocket designed to hold essentials like phones and keys. The pocket retains the internal lining from a FREITAG bag, repurposed without alterations. Additionally, the shoulder straps are adjustable for both everyday wear and cycling modes, ensuring adaptability in various weather conditions or in cases of damaged shared bicycles.

During the product launch, FREITAG will feature a Tian Jianjun live session, showcasing the entire transformation process from a FREITAG bag to the bicycle seat cover backpack. Furthermore, the brand has invited special guest Gong Yu for an in-depth conversation about this project. It's worth noting that this product won't be available for sale; users will have the opportunity to use it on a rental basis.
