FREITAG launches #gonewithfreitag rental campaign in China

This summer, Swiss sustainable fashion brand FREITAG once again applied the principles of the circular economy to vacation practices, urging consumers to obtain bags through rental and sharing. From July 12th to August 23rd, consumers can borrow bags from FREITAG stores and designated retail partners, with a maximum duration of three weeks. At the same time, FREITAG invites users to express holiday greetings or share vacation moods on social media using the hashtag #gonewithfreitag.

Since 2016, FREITAG has launched a global campaign called #gonewithfreitag, encouraging environmentally conscious travelers to visit their stores and obtain the right to use designated FREITAG bags through rental. As stated in the fifth point of the FREITAG manifesto, "We care about usage rights, not ownership," emphasizing that the opportunity to access products is more important than ownership itself. Through the "Borrow a Bag" initiative, the brand encourages users to embrace the outdoors, allowing more people to use and experience FREITAG's products while promoting the brand's sustainable development principles.
