Zegna Backs Italian Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2026, Reinforcing Long-Term Commitment to Art and Cultural Sustainability

Italian luxury house Zegna has been named Main Sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition of the La Biennale di Venezia, reaffirming the brand’s long-standing commitment to cultural patronage, artistic dialogue, and place-based sustainability. Promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of Italy’s Ministry of Culture, the pavilion will present Con te con tutto, a project by Italian artist Chiara Camoni curated by Cecilia Canziani. The exhibition explores themes of coexistence, shared practices, and the interconnected relationship between humans, materials, and the natural world.

For Zegna, the sponsorship extends beyond traditional luxury branding into a broader vision of cultural sustainability rooted in landscape, craftsmanship, and intergenerational value creation. Executive Chairman Gildo Zegna described the partnership as a continuation of the company’s century-long investment in Italian culture and territory, embodied through initiatives such as Oasi Zegna — the ecological and cultural project founded on the values of founder Ermenegildo Zegna. Through its contemporary art platform ZEGNART, the company has supported long-term collaborations with artists and curators since 2014, positioning art patronage not as a one-off sponsorship model, but as an evolving practice of shared cultural development.

By supporting the Italian Pavilion on one of the world’s most influential contemporary art stages, Zegna continues to strengthen the connection between fashion, cultural heritage, and sustainability-driven storytelling. The partnership also reflects a wider shift within the luxury industry, where brands are increasingly aligning artistic engagement with environmental awareness, territorial identity, and long-term social value.
