Uniqlo Launches Upcycled Collection Across Europe to Advance Circular Fashion
Uniqlo has unveiled Everyday Re.Imagined, a 10-piece upcycled collection developed in collaboration with graduates from London’s Central Saint Martins, marking a new step in the brand’s efforts to embed circularity into fashion design. Made entirely from returned garments that are difficult to repair, each piece reimagines existing materials while remaining true to Uniqlo’s LifeWear philosophy of simplicity, quality and everyday functionality. The collection is now available through 15 Uniqlo Studios across Europe.
Beyond creating limited-edition garments, the initiative serves as a pilot for developing scalable circular design practices. Designers worked within production constraints to ensure the concepts could be recreated using available returned products, while allowing each garment to remain unique. According to Uniqlo Europe, the project aims to refine practical approaches to garment reuse and inform future recycling initiatives, demonstrating how collaboration between industry and emerging designers can help extend product lifecycles and reduce textile waste.
