Seasalt Cornwall unveils collaboration with Beyond Retro to tackle textile waste

British clothing brand Seasalt Cornwall has announced an exciting collaboration with vintage clothing experts Beyond Retro, unveiling a limited-edition capsule collection crafted from repurposed denim. The partnership aims to reduce textile waste in the fashion industry while offering unique, sustainable designs to consumers.

The Beyond Retro x Seasalt collection features one-of-a-kind pieces made from pre-loved, post-consumer denim, giving the fabric a second life and keeping it out of landfills. This initiative is part of Seasalt Cornwall’s newly launched Creative Circularity program, which focuses on pioneering innovative ways to improve environmental and social impact across the product lifecycle.

The collection reimagines three of Seasalt’s popular silhouettes: cropped jeans, a pinafore dress, and a workwear-style jacket. Each piece is crafted in patchwork denim, using materials sourced and sorted in Beyond Retro’s factory in India. This process not only breathes new life into discarded fabrics but also highlights the potential of circular fashion.
