PORTS partners with Progetto QUID to drive social and environmental sustainability

PORTS Group announced a partnership with Progetto Quid, an Italian non-profit organization specializing in sustainable fashion, aiming to reduce textile waste through the redesign and reuse of surplus fabrics.

Founded in 2013, Progetto Quid is dedicated to providing employment opportunities for vulnerable groups, with a particular focus on advancing the welfare of marginalized women and enhancing their social rights.

This collaboration is driven by a shared vision for industry sustainability and a commitment to empowering women through employment. In the future, PORTS Group will collaborate with Progetto Quid to engage artisans from low-income areas in using surplus fabrics generated during production to create limited-edition clothing and accessories. This initiative not only promotes waste reduction but also supports the preservation of valuable artisanal skills.

This partnership represents another chapter in PORTS Group's commitment to supporting and empowering women. As International Women's Day approaches, PORTS Group aims to extend its care and appreciation through this collaboration. By promoting recycling, reducing industrial waste, and providing employment opportunities for marginalized women, PORTS Group is driving the fashion industry toward a more sustainable and inclusive future.

Established in 1961, PORTS Group owns four distinct brands: PORTS 1961, PORTS, PortsPURE, and PORTS V. Inspired by every journey, PORTS designs aim to inspire every fashion enthusiast, accompanying them as they traverse different boundaries, fulfilling their desires for self-expression and self-realization.
