Xianyu opens first offline recycle store in China

Alibaba's second-hand trading platform, Xianyu, has recently unveiled its first offline recycle store, the "Xianyu Recycle Shop," located at No. 166 Silk Union in Hangzhou City. The store is set to officially open on January 28th, marking a significant milestone for both the brand and the local community. According to official details released by the esteemed company, the "Xianyu Recycle Shop" is an exceptional retail outlet that specializes in a wide range of second-hand items, primarily focusing on serving the immediate community within a two-kilometer radius of the store and consumers within the city.

The establishment is designed to provide comprehensive services for both buyers and sellers of used goods. Additionally, the store provides convenient services such as running errands, walking dogs, and scooping litter, welcoming nearby residents to take advantage of these services. On the opening day of the store's operation, Xianyu is also excited to present the first-ever Xianyu flea market in Xianyu Street within the magnificent Xianyu Yard and Rainbow Square. They warmly invite talented individuals to display their coveted second-hand items, creating a buzz around the store's inauguration and boosting business.

As a leading online second-hand trading platform, Xianyu understands the constraints and restrictions imposed by geography and trust often encountered during transactions on the platform. This offline retail store aims to address these concerns, facilitating face-to-face interactions and restoring personal connections, rejuvenating city life. This initiative aligns with the previously proposed concept of the dual development of "community" and "transactions."
