Tory Burch champions female entrepreneurship in China
This year, Tory Burch continues its collaboration with the China Women's Development Foundation to advance the Women's Empowerment Entrepreneurship Program. With love and resilience, the initiative aims to preserve traditional handicrafts, support women's entrepreneurship, and foster mutual encouragement and solidarity.
Tory Burch has also invited Li Suying, a representative inheritor of Zhuang brocade weaving craftsmanship and a training instructor for the Women's Empowerment Entrepreneurship Program, to share her story with Zhuang brocade.
Since its inception, Tory Burch has been dedicated to women's empowerment. In 2009, it established the Tory Burch Foundation in the United States to provide financial resources and educational support, helping women fearlessly pursue their dreams and amplifying their voices. Similarly, in China, Tory Burch collaborated with the China Women's Development Foundation to launch the Women's Empowerment Entrepreneurship Program in Hainan. This initiative focuses on preserving the intangible cultural heritage of Li brocade and supporting Hainanese women, particularly those facing economic challenges, in their entrepreneurial and employment pursuits.
