With the changing environmental climate and the impact of excessive development, rare animals are facing a crisis of decreasing habitats. On World Animal Day, October 4th, Tmall has teamed up with a group of special brand friends - all of their brand names are inspired by animals - to launch the "Animal Brands Protect Animals" series of activities, calling on more people to participate in protecting endangered animals.

Online, Tmall has collaborated with 20 brands to rename and change their logos, with animals in the brand names replaced by specific endangered species. The brands have used erroneous names and logos to advocate for endangered animals and share posters on their survival status, drawing more attention to these disappearing animals. At the same time, from October 3rd to 5th, Tmall will also launch a public welfare event on its platform. Users can search for "Let Help Change Helplessness" to enter the event, where they can purchase customized "wrong version" packaging products jointly developed by Tmall and the brands. The proceeds from these caring products will be used entirely for public science popularization and educational activities.

In addition, Tmall has also collaborated with Nanjing Red Mountain Forest Zoo to create an "Animal Helps Animal" offline science exhibition on World Animal Day, and an "Animal Friends Group" online live broadcast on the 5th to provide online education on endangered animals.

From the "Cats Help Cats" campus stray cat public welfare rescue plan to the current animal protection activities, Tmall's continuous attention to animal protection and biodiversity issues has demonstrated the platform's ability to activate public awareness of animal protection and implement public welfare actions. This not only reflects the social responsibility of enterprises but also gains user favorability.
