Rémy Cointreau Group pioneers green supply chain operations with Rokin Logistics and Windrose

The Rémy Cointreau Group, a globally renowned spirits company, and Rokin Logistics recently held a launch ceremony in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, to mark the official introduction of their green supply chain and the deployment of pure electric heavy-duty trucks. This initiative sets a precedent in the global spirits and wine industry by incorporating innovative pure electric heavy-duty trucks, developed by Windrose, into their long-distance logistics system.

The green supply chain jointly constructed by Rémy Cointreau and Rokin Logistics will be officially integrated into the group's logistics network for southern China dealers in early December 2024. The pure electric heavy-duty trucks, specially developed by Windrose, have a theoretical driving range of approximately 670 kilometers and consume only 100 kWh per 100 kilometers. By April 2025, this green supply chain will handle at least 10% of the group's southern region dealer shipments.

In addition to comparable logistics efficiency with traditional road transportation, the pure electric heavy-duty trucks significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions during transportation, becoming a crucial component of Rémy Cointreau's green supply chain practices. Based on a single transport of 150 kilometers with a cargo capacity of about 27 tons, the pure electric heavy-duty trucks used by Rémy Cointreau are expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 51% compared to traditional diesel heavy-duty trucks, effectively promoting energy conservation and emission reduction in road transportation and demonstrating the group's exceptional foresight and commitment to sustainable supply chain development.

Protecting terroir and striving for a sustainable future are closely linked to the quality of fine beverages. With a mission to cherish and protect natural terroir, Rémy Cointreau Group actively fulfills its corporate social responsibilities and has set ambitious goals to halve carbon emissions across its entire value chain by 2030 and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

In 2023, the group opened DENTREE, its first sustainable theme bar worldwide, in Shanghai, which is also China's first bar to achieve carbon neutrality certification in both construction and operation. The same year, Rémy Cointreau Group's southern China general warehouse was officially completed in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, significantly shortening the delivery cycle for dealers in southern China. Furthermore, the solar panels installed on the warehouse roof provide clean energy for daily operations, efficiently contributing to energy conservation and emission reduction. In addition to seeking green road transportation solutions, Rémy Cointreau Group also focuses on the global supply chain, actively promoting the implementation of a "zero air freight" policy by prioritizing low-carbon transportation options such as sea and rail transportation and green road transportation.
