Rifeng Marks a Decade of Public Welfare with a Campaign Celebrating the “Most Beautiful Names in the World”
Chinese plumbing brand Rifeng has marked a decade of public welfare initiatives with the launch of The Most Beautiful Names in the World, a short film and public exhibition highlighting 55 Yi children from Meigu County in Sichuan’s Liangshan region. Created in partnership with Xinhua Net, the campaign features the children sharing the meanings behind their names—many of which carry wishes for courage, resilience and a bright future. An immersive exhibition in Foshan recreated a classroom from Liangshan, inviting visitors to learn about the children’s stories, write messages of encouragement and share their aspirations.
The campaign reflects a broader evolution in Rifeng’s approach to social impact. Since launching its education-focused public welfare programme in 2017, the company has supported more than 1,900 students across over 300 cities, developing the “Your Future, Rifeng Pipe” initiative and establishing its first full-class Suoma Class in Liangshan in 2025. Rather than portraying rural children primarily through the lens of disadvantage, the latest campaign seeks to foreground their identities, cultural heritage and aspirations—illustrating how corporate philanthropy can move beyond addressing material needs toward sustained educational support and greater recognition of the communities it serves.
