Nanushka, the Budapest-based fashion house, has recently launched on Alibaba Group’s business-to-consumer marketplace Tmall and opened a store in Shanghai. The fast-growing brand, worn by Michelle Obama, Yang Mi and Billie Eilish, is out to make a big splash in China. The fashion brand also aims to increase its store count in the market to nine by 2026, making China the brand’s largest investment and footprint.

Last month Nanushka opened a Shanghai store in the upscale IAMP shopping mall. They are engaging and collaborating with locally based creatives in order to build a community around their Shanghai store. Nanushka is making its Tmall debut just ahead of the world’s largest shopping event, 11.11, also known in China as Single’s Day. Nanushka Tmall store boasts ready-to-wear lines for women and men, accessories and a core collection.

Nanushka develops beautifully crafted products with an authentic and consistent consideration to responsible production. The brand draws inspiration and energy from nature, and appreciates, respects and nourishes the world around them. They work not only to reduce their impact on the environment, but also to give back and contribute positively to the communities they work with.
