Nakagawa Masashichi Store × HEYAN ER's 'Weaving Flow' Theme Exhibition

From July 13th to August 12th, Nakagawa Masashichi Store joined hands with HEYAN ER's to hold the "Weaving Flow" exhibition, aiming to awaken the public's reflection on time and the value of objects. The exhibition also showcases the new developments of the sashiko craft in China and Japan, as well as a series of sashiko fabric products with simple and elegant beauty.

Since ancient times, from China to Japan, people have woven new cloth from old clothes, and the craft of sashiko has been passed down from generation to generation. Founded in 1716, Nakagawa Masashichi Store has the vision of "revitalizing Japanese handicrafts" and creates a wealth of daily necessities for everyone. The independent designer brand HEYAN ER has also been committed to the "re-design" of fabric after clothing production and has incubated the sub-brand MENGJI NONGGA.

Through this "Weaving Flow" exhibition, both parties hope that the sashiko craft can be inherited and sublimated in China, Japan, and other parts of the world, creating a new landscape in people's daily lives. Consumers can not only see the daily necessities such as coasters and tea mats made of sashiko fabric by MENGJI NONGGA but also witness the full line of "sashiko" products from Nakagawa Masashichi Store making their debut in China.
