Marie Dalgar rewild in abandoned factories

In the summer of 2023, Marie Dalgar embarked on a journey of exploration with the physical theater production "Seeds of the Earth." Now, in 2024, the brand's artistic arm, ART LAB by marie dalgar, continues this exploration by embracing the concept of re-wilding borrowed from ecology, planning an action called "REWILD" in urban spaces.

From March 15th to 17th, within the industrial space of EKA·Tianwu Building 7, once abandoned, seeds will transform into "wild vines," weaving a path that connects sensory experiences with nature in the urban landscape. REWILD, as a concept, signifies a return to nature, restoring human-altered environments to their original natural forms, encouraging the return of diverse species to rebuild ecological diversity and promote organic development.

Inspired by this, Marie Dalgar seeks to bring beauty from the abstract realm of ecology back to tangible life, including every individual and every aspect of nature, in search of our ideal state of growth. This action proposes a strategy for re-wilding urban life: breaking single lines with circular curves and elegantly disrupting efficiency, smoothness, rules, and concentration with diversified physical movements.

This curved path will also serve as the route for the "REWILD" performance. The show will unfold in three chapters: "Circle," "Wild," and "Touch," inviting everyone to witness the possibility of re-wilding through installation art, physical performance art, and interactive art, all intertwined along this one-hour journey.
