Marie Dalgar opens nature theatre at Qingshan Village

From June 5th to July 18th, the renowned Chinese cosmetics brand Marie Dalgar held the "In Qingshan • Quanxiang Art Season" in Qingshan Village, Hangzhou, seeking to transcend traditional boundaries and offer visitors a multisensory journey.

The event showcased four distinct elements: "Nature Theater," "Sound Scene," "Public Art," and "Local Connection." By inviting artists, playwrights, actors, dancers, and architects from diverse backgrounds, MaryKay aimed to create an immersive experience that engaged the senses and fostered a deep connection with nature and the local community.

From July 7th to 9th and July 14th to 16th, the "Marie Dalgar Nature Theater" staged the enthralling physical theater production titled "Seeds of the Land." Through a seamless blend of language, physicality, new media art, and interactive on-site participation, this production offered audiences an opportunity to embark on a captivating journey of exploration, where nature, culture, and art converged to ignite their imagination.

Marie Dalgar's foray into the cosmetics industry began in 2006, positioning itself as a Chinese brand embracing the realm of new art. In 2017, the company achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first domestic cosmetics brand to partner with the renowned retailer, Sephora. Subsequently, MaryKay expanded its reach to international markets, including Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, solidifying its reputation as an innovative brand with a global footprint.
