L'Occitane revamps hand cream packaging with a touch of circularity

L'Occitane revealed its initiative to revamp the packaging of its hand cream, adding a touch of "green" to contribute to environmental sustainability. Compared to traditional packaging, the new packaging for L'Occitane hand cream will reduce plastic usage by opting for recyclable PE materials, promoting circularity and sustainability, thus aiding the Earth in emitting fewer "carbon" gases and fostering a symbiotic relationship with nature.

By embracing environmentally friendly practices, L'Occitane injects a breath of fresh air into its products. It is reported that with the packaging update, the brand aims to reduce plastic usage by 28 tons annually and decrease carbon emissions by approximately 28%. This effort will safeguard 560 square kilometers of marine areas, preserving marine life and adding momentum to the brand's environmental conservation endeavors.
