International Symposium on Sustainable Lifestyle Design hosted in Milan
On the afternoon of April 15, 2024, in Milan, Italy, the "International Symposium on Sustainable Lifestyle Design 2024" sponsored by Tsinghua University Milan School of Art and Design, Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design, and the China-Italy Design Innovation Hub of Tsinghua University was a resounding success.
As sustainable lifestyles increasingly infiltrate people's lives, the principle of sustainability has emerged as a guiding light for many brands and designers. The focus of the art and design world is now on leveraging design to foster sustainable lifestyles, propel sustainable economic and social development, and empower life through design. This symposium, themed "Sustainable Lifestyle Design", invited renowned designers, scholars, and experts from China and Italy to deliver keynote speeches, engage in academic salons, share cutting-edge research, explore avant-garde design concepts, and exchange experiences in innovative practices. It attracted numerous representatives from education and business sectors in both countries.
