Canada Goose, a high-end functional clothing and lifestyle brand in Canada, announced its cooperation with the Shan Shui Conservation Center to jointly launch the natural experience and community participation project of the demonstration village in the Yangtze River source area of Sanjiangyuan National Park.

This long-term project aims to support biodiversity and protect the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature through various activities such as biodiversity monitoring and research, community development, policy research, and public participation. The project is carried out by Canada Goose and is their first major international corporate social responsibility initiative outside of Canada. It showcases the brand's strong determination to promote the HUMANATURE concept and its unwavering commitment to supporting the local communities in which they operate.

The project's primary focus will be on the Yangtze River Source region in Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, China. It will specifically target approximately 500 herder households in selected demonstration villages. The project sets out to achieve three main goals: monitoring, action, and advocacy. By engaging local herders, it aims to establish a long-term monitoring network to track the population dynamics of endangered species and promote biodiversity conservation.
