APSMUSEUM presents "Sustainable · Abundant: Illustrating Sustainability" exhibition

APSMUSEUM is presenting its summer exhibition, "Sustainable · Abundant: Illustrating Sustainability", which opens on July 7, 2023. The exhibition is organized by Business Ecology as the host unit, co-hosted by Xinzhi Feng Art Agency and L+MALL, with Ms. Sun Haiyan as the curator. Through original thematic art illustrations and short films, the exhibition aims to raise public awareness and reflection on sustainability issues in an artistic way.

The concept of sustainable development was initially proposed in the 1980s, offering a new imagination and possibilities for humanity's future. However, it also faces practical challenges: how can we simultaneously develop the economy, protect our planet, and enhance social well-being? The Copenhagen Climate Change Conference in 2009 brought more attention to the issues of climate change and sustainable development. In recent years, China has actively promoted sustainable development, setting dual carbon targets and implementing relevant regulations.

While industry and policy efforts are crucial external forces, what does sustainable development mean for business innovation and our own lives? Over the past 12 years, the content creation team of Business Ecology has personally visited various corners of the world, from the melting Arctic glaciers to Germany undergoing an energy transition, from the cities hosting the Climate Change Conference that led to the Paris Agreement to Sweden and Finland, which have launched various sustainable innovation inventions with great enthusiasm.

Through the timeline of sustainability issues and diverse creative approaches and artistic styles, the exhibition showcases a systematic presentation of sustainable topics. It aims to influence more people's lifestyle choices by addressing around 20 sustainability issues, including climate change, circular economy, water resource management, sustainable forests, sustainable innovation, inclusiveness, and more, promoting sustainable living and consumption concepts.
