ANTA releases Olympics uniform for Chinese winners

ANTA, a leading brand in China's sportswear industry, has partnered with the Chinese Olympic Committee to officially unveil the Official Uniform of the Chinese Sports Delegation for Victory Ceremonies at the Paris 2024 Olympic Summer Games. This latest creation by ANTA is notable for being China’s first certified carbon-neutral official uniform for the Chinese Sports Delegation's Victory Ceremonies.

The design, crafted under the creative consultancy of Mr. Zhang Yimou, features classic Chinese styling with a minimalist color scheme. Elements such as "Loong scales" and "Loong whiskers" are intricately incorporated using embossing, patchwork, and embroidery techniques. This combination not only conveys traditional Chinese culture but also embodies the spirit of perseverance and vitality of Chinese athletes in the new era.

Significantly, uniforms are made from environmentally friendly recycled fibers, marking a milestone in sustainable fashion. Certified by authoritative institutions, the entire lifecycle of the uniforms—from, from raw material acquisition to disposal—achieves carbon neutrality.

ANTA's commitment to sustainability is evident in the production of these eco-friendly uniforms, which use materials such as recycled nylon and polyester. This initiative has led to a reduction of over 50% in carbon emissions. As part of the National Dual Carbon Strategy, ANTA has ensured that the carbon emissions associated with the uniforms are neutral, a first for China's Olympic uniforms.

ANTA and the Chinese Olympic Committee launched the "Mountain and River Project" on July 25, 2023, during the one-year countdown to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. This large-scale environmental initiative encouraged sports enthusiasts to collect discarded plastic bottles from across the country. ANTA pledged to use recycled materials from this project to manufacture the official uniforms. With the release of these carbon-neutral uniforms, the project has entered a new phase, demonstrating significant results. ANTA plans to continue mobilizing sports enthusiasts through its nationwide retail network and extensive membership community, actively supporting the national dual-carbon strategy and fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
