Balabala x Sateri: Where did the finless porpoise go?

On June 6th, an exciting collaboration between the Semir Group's Balabala, Sateri, and Super Brand Mall brought forth the "Where Did the Finless Porpoise Go" environmental charity art exhibition at Poyang Lake. The primary aim of this event was to raise public awareness regarding the conservation of finless porpoises and the diverse biodiversity found in Poyang Lake. The exhibition showcased exceptional artworks created by talented students from over 30 local primary schools in Jiujiang, the region surrounding Poyang Lake. These artworks were the result of the "Colorful Poyang Lake - Creative Biodiversity Painting Contest."

In addition, the exhibition featured the incredible contributions of six celebrated artists: Ma Defan, Liu Wei, Song Ximin, Li Haitao, Zheng Yuanwu, and BOBO Pan. These artists specially crafted sustainable fiber artworks that beautifully captured the essence of the finless porpoise and the rich ecosystem of Poyang Lake. The artists received generous support from partnering companies, who provided them with fabrics containing environmentally friendly Sateri Lyocell fiber.

In conjunction with this event, the Balabala has launched a distinctive and meaningful "Clothing Recycling" campaign, actively promoting green and sustainable development. Guo Zhaoyi, the strategic expert of the Balabala division, emphasized that these garments will be sent to collaborating recycling organizations for meticulous sorting and processing, with the ultimate goal of minimizing environmental impact. By recycling old clothing, people can not only reduce resource wastage but also make a valuable contribution to the cause of environmental conservation.

From the afternoon of June 10th until June 11th, the environmental charity art exhibition also treated children to a series of vibrant and diverse interactive activities. These included "Colorful Poyang Lake Happy Doodling," "ECO Customized Gifts," and "Transforming Old Items." Through these initiatives, Balabala, Sateri, and Super Brand Mall aimed to inspire greater attention and action toward environmental conservation. Harnessing the power of art, they sought to protect the finless porpoise and the rich biodiversity of Poyang Lake.

Balabala is committed to all-around innovation in fabrics, design, craftsmanship, and more, in order to offer consumers a wider range of sustainable products such as Balabala Green. Their focus is on creating a comfortable, safe, and sustainable wearing experience for children while also contributing to ecological improvements. In addition to their product efforts, Balabala actively participates in philanthropic and social activities, with a particular emphasis on promoting children's development and supporting local community growth.
