French luxury titan LVMH Group's Italian division collaborated with Lindbergh, an Italian public trading logistic firm, to establish the logistics platform CircularITALIE, where they inked a three-year alliance to offer circular economy services and execute pertinent projects in Italy.

Lindbergh operates MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) services in Italy and France, which also encompasses recycling and upcycling initiatives. The objective of this collaboration is to deliver innovative services and solutions in logistics, documentation, and IT management for all recycling, reuse, and upcycling activities.

In alignment with LVMH's circular ethos, this project collaborates with partners to appraise packaging, products, idle and surplus raw materials, facilitating their reintroduction into the production line. The project initially commenced in France in 2009, when LVMH forged alliances with platforms like the Cedre-Environnemental Center for Déconditioning and Ecological Recycling, for applications such as perfumes and other unsold products.

The newly established CircularITALIE will extend the project to Italy, encompassing additional recycled materials such as textiles, leather, and metals.
