Diptyque launches foundation dedicated to arts and nature
French luxury fragrance brand Diptyque has announced the launch of the Diptyque Foundation, a new initiative focused on fostering creativity through art and nature. The foundation’s mission is to encourage imagination as a driver of positive transformation. This is through a five-year plan structured around three core objectives: preserving botanical heritage, promoting artistic research, and strengthening connections with nature.
As part of its initial programs in 2025, the Diptyque Foundation will support the Herbier National of the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, contributing to the conservation and promotion of the scientific archive. It will also collaborate with the École nationale supérieure de paysage to establish a new sector dedicated to the art of gardens.
Diptyque said the foundation is further committed to protecting significant botanical spaces, including the Jardin Serre de la Madone in Menton and the historic gardens of the French Académie de France à Rome – Villa Médicis. A residency program focused on garden artistry will also be introduced in partnership with Villa Médicis. Beyond conservation efforts, the foundation aims to address “plant amnesia” through “Les Petits Apprentis du Vivant” (The Little Apprentices of the Living), an educational initiative designed to raise awareness, particularly among younger generations about biodiversity and botanical heritage.
