Zhuanzhuan Opens Its Largest Circular Store in Guangzhou, Expanding Access to Secondhand Consumption

Chinese circular economy and secondhand commerce company Zhuanzhuan Group has opened a new Circular Store in Guangzhou, marking its fourth location following stores in Zhengzhou, Dongguan and Chengdu and its first expansion into a core shopping district in a first-tier city.

Located in the city’s Tianhe fashion and retail district, the nearly 500-square-metre store is currently the company’s largest Circular Store and its first to offer pre-owned luxury goods. It stocks more than 5,000 selected secondhand products spanning consumer electronics, gaming consoles, badminton rackets, musical instruments, collectibles, gold, photography equipment and luxury goods, alongside integrated resale, trade-in, quality inspection and after-sales services.

The Guangzhou opening forms part of Zhuanzhuan’s broader strategy to build a standardized offline network that can address long-standing trust barriers in the secondhand market, including information asymmetry, inconsistent product quality and limited after-sales support. The company currently operates four quality inspection centers and has more than 2,500 professional inspectors and luxury authentication specialists, while its broader offline network includes nearly 1,500 stores across more than 300 cities.

By combining standardized quality control with convenient physical retail and recycling services, Zhuanzhuan aims to improve the circulation of idle products, reduce resource waste, and make secondhand consumption a more accessible part of everyday lifestyles, supporting the wider development of China’s circular economy.
