Yili launches two low-carbon milk products

On May 22nd, International Day for Biological Diversity, Yili Group unveiled two innovative low-carbon milk products at the WISH 2030 Conference and ESG 20th Anniversary Yili Group Sustainability Forum - its first double-reduced, eco-friendly pure milk and the inaugural methane-reducing, QQ-star student eco-friendly pure milk. These products underscore Yili's expertise in low-carbon technology and its comprehensive carbon management strategy across the entire industrial chain.

Yili's first double-reduced eco-friendly pure milk employs innovative low-carbon feed technology, significantly reducing methane emissions from dairy cows' rumens by 20%-30%. Its packaging, certified by SGS, further reduces the product's carbon footprint by up to 30.81%. The QQ Star Methane Reducing and Environmentally Friendly Pure Milk for Students, tailored for the youth, employs the same technology and design to promote a low-carbon lifestyle among the younger generation.

These two products not only cater to consumers' preference for high-quality, eco-friendly products but also establish a new benchmark for green consumption in the dairy industry. Notably, the QQ Star Methane Reduction Pure Milk for Students, aimed at the youth, promotes the concept of low-carbon living through practical actions and fosters environmental consciousness among the younger generation. Yili's initiative not only bolsters its brand image and market competitiveness but also provides a pioneering model for the green transformation of the dairy industry, contributing to the realization of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, reflecting Yili's leadership responsibility and commitment.
