Shanghai-based ch22 launched 100% biodegradable bamboo tissues
Shanghai-based lifestyle brand ch22 has upgraded the brand core product "Little Yellow Box" (ch22 75% alcohol wipes - 50 packs). The upgrade is based on "sustainability", starting with raw materials and end-use recycling, replacing the cotton sheets with 100% biodegradable bamboo fiber. This is another important step in ch22's ongoing commitment to sustainability, following on from the bamboo pulp range.
At present, most of the alcohol cleaning wipes on the market are made of non-degradable polyester blend materials. Driven by the concept of sustainability, ch22 chose Tianzhu bamboo fiber to replace the original fiber blended material on the basis of ensuring the sense of use, which is a new type of cellulose fiber produced by using widely grown bamboo as raw material. In terms of materials, bamboo is an ecological and environmentally friendly textile raw material, with the characteristics of short growth cycle and renewable. And most bamboos grow on hillsides, do not occupy arable land, and do not need planting, irrigation, spraying, and fertilization. From the perspective of terminal recycling, Tianzhu fiber is degradable, and it has been proved by experimental tests that it can be naturally degraded within 3 months.
ch22 is modernizing daily cleaning for the new generation, it started from tissue, but is not limited to tissue only. ch22 focuses on aesthetics, function, and altogether making it playful. ch22 is here to change the consumption habits of customers, making cleaning as part of an artistic process that consumers will have fun with and enjoy.
