SEPHORiA China's debut celebrates beauty wonderland with a sustainability focus

SEPHORiA, the globally acclaimed annual beauty extravaganza by Sephora, made its grand entrance into China with a three-day spectacular event held in Shanghai from November 17th to 19th. Over 3000 participants explored and experienced the event through Sephora's membership point redemption and ticket purchases via Damai. Marking its debut in China, this event showcased more than 146 exclusive products from 52 high-end brands, empowering consumers to intimately connect with brands, fostering their imaginative beauty prowess through diversified interactive experiences.

Notably, this inaugural SEPHORiA event in China was also Sephora's first large-scale carbon-neutral initiative. With a focus on multiple eco-friendly details, the event highlighted the brand's commitment to leading the sustainable development of the beauty industry. From the venue at Shanghai's Expo Creative Show, this event not only curated an array of new products but also hosted 12 master classes, offering a platform for beauty enthusiasts to engage with top-notch beauty masters and brands.

Sephora has always been dedicated to sustainable development across all channels, aiming to construct an eco-friendly beauty consumption ecosystem. The 2023 SEPHORiA China event was certified as carbon neutral, representing Sephora's commitment to green and low-carbon initiatives. The event also partnered with the premium sparkling wine brand, CHANDON, to promote eco-consciousness, encouraging attendees to opt for green transportation to the venue and participate in an environmental survey.

Over the span of three days, more than 3000 enthusiastic attendees flocked to SEPHORiA, collectively contributing to the establishment of a green beauty economic value chain. Since its entry into the Chinese market in 2005, Sephora has continually inspired domestic consumers with international cutting-edge beauty trends. The debut of SEPHORiA in China echoes Sephora's promise of enhancing beauty experiences.
