PepsiCo goes digital at Shanghai Fashion Week

PepsiCo and Inert Plan (digital innovation center) debuted in the first season of Digital Shanghai Fashion Week from June 17th to 19th. Compared with the offline show, the virtual fashion saves the material that needs to be invested in the entity, and the zero-waste characteristic conveys the brand concept of PepsiCo "no plastic waste" more intuitively.

PepsiCo cooperated with Inert Plan to create an interactive scene between a virtual human and a Pepsi Cola intelligent recycling machine. The empty Pepsi bottle that was put into the device was deconstructed and reshaped in the recycling machine and then transferred into garments, accessories, furniture, etc. The fashion items will be produced after the virtual release and generate new value.

Inert Plan created three sets of virtual fashions made of recycled materials for PepsiCo to interpret sustainable fashion aesthetics this time. At the same time, it also integrates PepsiCo's environmental protection spirit into the fashion trends and the times. With flexible and simulated lenses and dynamic capture of virtual people to enhance infection, making sustainability a topic that young people prefer to participate in and interact with.

From virtual fashion releases to virtual fashion items, PepsiCo aims to grow with young people, attract the younger generation to re-create, share eco-friendly fashion, and explore new ideas.
