Organice skincare brand L:a Bruket announced the launch of a new store in Hong Kong’s cultural-retail destination K11 Musea. Opened on November 24, the new store marks an exciting moment for the Swedish brand: its first shop in Hong Kong. Designed with subtle references to L:a Bruket’s founding alongside specially commissioned art, the multi-faceted space offers a moment of relaxation and reflection for locals.

Inside, soft gray clay covers the walls, contrasted by a central unit of baked earth. Forming the focal point of the store, the red brick-lined counter references the humble industrial building that L:a Bruket started out in. Elsewhere, raw, sinuous aluminium shelving makes a counterpoint to the wooden joinery that wraps around the building’s columns. Topped with a handcrafted wash basin created by co-founder Monica Kylén, the undulating sink serves as a test area for body and hand products.

Founded 14 years ago, L:a Bruket stands for a holistic vision of beauty and well-being. Ingredients taking inspiration from the sea, land, and forest of the region are paired with biotech formulas, to showcase the brand’s philosophy – ‘innovation driven by nature’. And they are not only committed to your skin: L:A BRUKET pledges to donate five percent of the net sales of the Spruce range to Naturarvet – a collection foundation that buys old-growth forests to help preserve biodiversity.
