Longchamp Turns Shanghai’s Streets into a Citywide Treasure Hunt

French luxury brand Longchamp has launched a new “Treasure Hunt” experience in Shanghai, inviting visitors to explore the city through a curated walking route that begins at the brand’s flagship “Longchamp House” on Wukang Road. Reimagined as a Parisian-inspired green newsstand, the space serves as the starting point for a journey that extends beyond the traditional retail environment, encouraging participants to uncover clues hidden throughout the neighborhood while engaging with the brand’s lifestyle narrative.

Along the route, street furniture, temporary installations, and interactive spaces transform everyday urban corners into moments of discovery. Sustainability also features as a subtle thread throughout the experience, with creative installations incorporating recycled materials and conveying messages around circularity and reuse. Combined with floral displays woven into the streetscape, the activation reflects a growing trend among luxury brands to create immersive, place-based experiences that connect retail, community, and environmental awareness in a more meaningful way.
