HowBottle x NIKE: turning old shoes into new beginnings on Earth Day

As the 55th World Earth Day approaches, Howbottle collaborates with Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe initiative to launch the "No More Waste" campaign, transforming surplus materials from production into sustainable solutions for the future.

The "No More Waste" initiative by Howbottle, in partnership with Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe program, repurposes surplus fabric and rubber granules from discarded athletic shoes processed through Nike Grind technology. Through creative design and artisanal craftsmanship, seemingly surplus materials find new purpose and form. From April 8 to April 30, Howbottle hosts pop-up events at venues like "Open a Good Bottle" in Shanghai, LOCOMNS in Chengdu, and Jingwu Grocery Store in Dali, inviting participants to unleash their creativity using Nike Grind, Howbottle surplus fabric energy bags, and other discarded materials to create innovative artworks.

Furthermore, guests can scan QR codes to participate in Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe program, contributing their worn-out athletic shoes to the construction of Nike Grind eco-friendly sports fields. In return, they stand a chance to receive exclusive merchandise from the acclaimed "No More Waste" campaign.

From April 19 to April 21, Howbottle will conduct the "No More Waste: Shoe Fish Workshop" at Xintiandi in Shanghai. Participants will use Nike Grind and surplus materials from Howbottle to create "shoe fish" ornaments, engaging in hands-on sustainable living practices through enjoyable handicraft interactions.
