Comité Colbert to host Jeux de mains in Shanghai
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the Comité Colbert plans to hold an exhibition in Shanghai from November 4th to 10th, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the federation. Since its inception, the Comité Colbert has been committed to promoting the luxury industry and the art of French living, dedicated to inheriting exquisite craftsmanship, and adhering to the principle of "Passionately promoting, patiently inheriting, and perpetually perpetuating - the art of French living, inspiring the light of dreams."
The exhibition, named "Jeux de mains," aims to showcase the exciting dialogue between the master craftsmen of the Comité Colbert and outstanding Chinese craftsmen. The exhibition has been listed by the French Embassy in China as part of the "Franco-Chinese Year of Cultural Tourism" project, with 17 French luxury brands participating. Renowned artist Jiang Qiong'er will be in charge of planning the exhibition, initiating an extraordinary dialogue between Chinese and French excellence in "craftsmanship" and "art."
Jiang Qiong'er said: "Jeux de mains explores the close relationship between French and Chinese excellence in craftsmanship, like a game between hands and hands, art and art, dialogue between Chinese and French craftsmanship in terms of delicacy, lightness, inclusiveness, poetry, harmony, and other perspectives, and endows the craft technique with a subtle yet powerful soul. This dialogue is the intersection of French luxury and exquisiteness with Chinese extraordinary craftsmanship, and it is also a unique encounter where two cultures join hands and progress together!"
