Barbour collaborates with Shaun the Sheep to "Mend Your Old Jacket"

In a recent collaboration, British fashion label Barbour teamed up with Shaun the Sheep to release a limited edition jacket and unveil a short film. The film narrates the story of Shaun the Sheep, Bitzer, and their flock mending a Barbour waxed jacket for their beloved farmer.

The heartwarming tale unfolds with the farmer's much-loved jacket showing signs of wear and tear due to weathering. To surprise him, the animals decide to repair and re-wax the jacket themselves while he sleeps. Unfortunately, their DIY attempts not only fail to restore the jacket as expected but inadvertently worsen its condition. Stepping in to assist, Barbour aids in re-waxing the jacket, revitalizing its look and functionality.

Beyond the animated story, Barbour prides itself on its unique jacket re-waxing services, often overlooked by consumers. Through this animated film, the brand aims to embed its service philosophy into the consumer mindset, mirroring the gesture of Shaun the Sheep presenting the repaired jacket to the farmer by presenting the waxed jackets to consumers. Additionally, Barbour has initiated an interactive campaign on Xiaohongshu (RED). From now until December 20th, visitors to any Barbour offline store, tagging #Barbour and posting a Xiaohongshu note with store check-in photos or travel pictures wearing Barbour, stand a chance to win an exclusive "Barbour x Shaun the Sheep" limited edition waxed jacket.
